Cisco projects that by 2020, 75% of mobile internet traffic will be video. Long-form lecture-capture video may be convenient to produce, but it fails to engage. The Narrative Platform and Narrasys Managed Services are designed to transform long-form lecture-capture video, presentations, and podcasts into compact, layered media narratives that activate curiosity and learning.
Design
Narrative video is designed to have cinematic quality and to that emotionally and intellectually connects a learner to the subject. We work with clients to design a creative treatment and scripting strategy that effectively covers the key learning objectives.
Produce
Multiple hi-def cameras, professional lighting and sound, variety of filming locations, and creative treatments such as interviews, round tables, and real-world settings look and feel more like documentary film than straight lecture capture.
Enhance
Motion graphics, b-roll, and images can assist with visualization of key concepts and make the film dynamic and cinematic. Interactive resources are layered along the video timeline so viewers can deep dive into relevant content.
Publish
Narrative Producer’s rich media publishing and layout tools are used to author integrated media narrative episodes. These episodes can be published as LTI links to integrate with LMSs or as open links to be delivered through open websites, blogs, social media, emails, MOOCs, etc.
